Telepsychology for High-Achieving Professionals
For Adults in Ohio, Virginia and All PsyPact States
You deliver strong results with integrity, but the relentless pace leaves you exhausted and disconnected, questioning whether you can maintain success while staying true to what matters most.
Your Successful - But Depleted
You care deeply about doing things well – in your career, your relationships, and your life. Yet lately, you find yourself constantly overwhelmed, mentally exhausted, and running on empty.
The pressure never seems to let up. You lie awake at night with racing thoughts, feel irritable with the people you love, or wonder how much longer you can keep pushing through burnout.
Deep down, you know you deserve more than just surviving each week. You want peace of mind, mental clarity, and the ability to truly enjoy the life you’ve built.
Why High-Achievers Feel Depleted
The pace never slows.
Overworking feels normal.
Emotional distance becomes efficient.
Despite continued achievement, somethings “off”.
Common Concerns Addressed
Anxiety, chronic stress, and burnout.
Mental overload and sleep difficulties.
Perfectionism.
Misalignment between roles, responsibilities, and personal values.
Traumatic experiences and prolonged impact or reactions.
Grief and loss.
Cultural, religious and spiritual coping or adjustments.
Life transitions and relationship challenges.
How We Work Together
Three clear steps:
-
Examine habits and patterns that keep you stuck.
-
Assess how these patterns affect your routines, relationships, and energy.
-
Realign your roles and responsibilities with your core values.
Success that costs your health, relationships, and values isn’t true success.
Align your success with what matters most and excel with renewed energy, clarity, and be fully present.
When you are mentally, physically, and emotionally present for what matters most.
Stress becomes manageable.
Decisions align with your values.
Success and what matters most align.
There is no obligation – it’s simply the clearest way to begin.
FAQs: Specialized Therapy for High-Achieving Professionals
What clients do you typically work with?
My clients tend to be current or retired professionals, leaders, public servants, educators, and adults whose lives and responsibilities include frequent travel or relocating.
My clients are well-informed about what they’re looking for, but may not know how to get there. They are accustomed to implementing changes and moving forward with their lives.
What is your therapy approach?
Therapy shouldn’t be a “prescriptive” – one size fits all approach – or agenda driven, your values are treated as an important compass for decision making and alignment.
This is why I use an integrative, holistic – values based approach that includes your cultural and spiritual practices, when relevant and desired, in coordination with complimentary evidence informed methods. The foundation is grounded in clinical rigor and ethical practice.
Some of evidenced-based methods used may include, but are not limited to:
- Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT)
- Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT)
- Cognitive Processing Therapy (CPT)
- Exposure Therapy (ET)
- Insight-oriented therapy
- Emotion-focused strategies
- Behavioral skill-building techniques
Can therapy improve sleep disrupted by chronic stress?
Yes. Chronic stress often interferes with sleep regulation.
Therapy helps identify stress patterns, nervous system activation, and behavioral factors contributing to insomnia or disrupted sleep, supporting sustainable restoration over time.
What can I expect when I work with you?
Count on me to be straightforward, upfront, and collaborative. I want to know when you have questions or concerns, so we can address them head on.
I balance humor, challenge and support with emphasis on personal autonomy, respect for privacy, and the gravity of what my clients manage every day.
Care is collaborative, reflective, and guided by ongoing clinical assessment, progress towards your individual goals, and clinical outcomes. I value tailoring goals/interventions to your individual needs.
What if I'm productive and successful, but exhausted or "off my game"?
That is a common experience.
You maybe still performing while feeling disconnected, numb, or resentful.
Therapy helps you understand what is happening beneath the surface, explore what needs to shift, and develop sustainable changes that support both well-being and performance.
Is teletherapy effective for burnout?
Yes. Online/video-based therapy is generally as effective as in-person therapy for treating burnout, stress, anxiety, exhaustion, and related issues.
Supporting Evidence
- American Psychological Association (APA): Teletherapy produces similar clinical outcomes to in-person therapy for anxiety, depression, burnout-related concerns, and more. APA Telehealth & Telepsychology Online therapy is here to stay (APA, 2021)
- Peer-reviewed Meta-Analyses:
- Fernandez et al. (2021): Video-delivered therapy is as effective as in-person psychotherapy. View Meta-Analysis
- Lin et al. (2022): No significant difference in outcomes between teletherapy and in-person sessions. View Study
Web-based CBT approaches also show strong results in reducing burnout symptoms.
Note: Effectiveness depends on individual needs, therapist fit, and consistent participation. Consult a licensed therapist to see if online therapy is right for you.
