Requirements

  1. Be at least 18 years old.

  2. Be in a PsyPact participating state during appointments.

  3. Have a stable internet connection.

  4. Have a device with working camera.

  5. Remain in a private, confidential, stationary location (not driving or in a public space).

  6. Avoid multitasking and using intoxicating substances.

Fees

15 minute Consultation: Free

Intake & Individual Therapy (60 minutes): $250. 

Individual Therapy (45 minutes): $200.

Extended and shorter sessions pro-rated.

*A debit, credit, or hsa/fsa card remain on file, with signed authorization to process charges for appointments at scheduled appointment times.

Monday to Wednesday: 8am – 7pm EST

Thursday to Friday: 8am – 5pm EST

Saturday: 8am – 1pm EST

Out-Of-Network Insurance

This practice and provider are out-of-network with all insurance providers. For your convenience, Thrizer is used to help you with out-of-networking insurance reimbursement.

This practice is private-pay, out-of-network, and does not accept medicare. Fees are due at the time of appointment at the rates of: $250 for intakes/60-min sessions, $200 for 45-min sessions.

FAQs: Psychotherapy Online with a Psychologist for Professionals

Yes. Many therapist and psychologists offer sessions through online platforms or appointments by phone.

 

Psychologists can be authorized through the state(s) they are licensed in to provide psychotherapy online to individuals that are physically located in that state at the time of the appointment. 

 

Psychologist can also obtain authorization through PsyPact to provide psychological services online to individuals that are physically located in any PsyPact participating state as long as the psychologist provides the service while physically located in their identified home state that they are licensed in.  

 

During online therapy, even though you’re not in the same room, the psychologist can still provide quality services similar to services you would receive in-person.  

It depends. Insurance coverage for psychotherapy online varies by provider, plan, and state.

 

Some insurance plans cover psychotherapy online similarly to in-person therapy, while others have limitations.
