Yes. Many psychologists offer sessions through online platforms or appointments by phone.
Psychologists can be authorized through the state(s) they are licensed in to provide psychotherapy online to individuals that are physically located in that state at the time of the appointment.
Psychologist can also obtain authorization through PsyPact to provide psychotherapy online to individuals that are physically located in any PsyPact participating state as long as the psychologist provides the service while physically located in their identified home state that they are licensed in.
During psychotherapy online, even though you’re not in the same room, the psychologist can still provide quality services similar to services you would receive in-person.
