Fees for Out-Of-Network Psychologist|Psychotherapy Online

As an out-of-network Psychologist, my role is to deliver thoughtful, individualized psychotherapy online guided by clinical judgement – not insurance mandates, diagnostic quotas or reimbursement restrictions.

I prioritize confidentiality, clinical autonomy, and individualized care. Unfortunately, insurance companies often require diagnoses and access to records, which can limit privacy and flexibility.

For these reasons, this practice operates as private-pay, and Dr. Weeks is an out-of-network Psychologist who also opted-out of Medicare.

Fees & Payment for Psychotherapy Online with an Out-Of-Network Psychologist

  • Complimentary Consultation (15 minutes): Free
  • Intake/Diagnostic evaluation (60 minutes): $250
  • Individual Therapy (45 minutes): $200

Regardless of how services are funded, a valid payment card is securely kept on file with a signed open authorization to process payment at the time of your appointment.

Accepted forms of payment include Cash, Debit Card, Credit Card, and HSA/FSA accounts

This transparent fee structure allows you to engage in psychotherapy online – without administrative barriers or third-party interference.

Benefits of an Out-Of-Network Psychologist

Out-of-network Psychologists are able to focus entirely on your goals, values, confidentiality, and clinical needs. There are no limitations on session frequency, treatment approach, or documentation requirements imposed by third parties.

This model supports the highest level of confidentiality possible within the healthcare system – which is especially important for high-profile professionals seeking discreet psychotherapy online.

Insurance companies typically require a formal mental health diagnosis to authorize services — even when clients seek support for:

  • Professional burnout in high-achieving professionals

  • Chronic stress and exhaustion in leaders

  • Sleep disruption caused by sustained responsibility

  • Relationship strain in driven professionals

  • Personal growth or values clarification

In addition, insurers may request access to clinical records or sensitive personal information as part of their review process.

Out-of-Network Benefits

Reimbursement for Psychotherapy Online with an Out-Of-Network Psychologist

If you have out-of-network benefits, you may be eligible for partial reimbursement from your insurance plan.

Many clients who pursue confidential online therapy for high-achieving professionals choose this option to maintain privacy while reducing overall costs.

Protect Your Confidentiality

If you decide to use your out-of-network benefits, we can discuss ways to further protect your confidentiality. This may include:

  • Clarifying diagnosis language when clinically appropriate

  • Ensuring you understand what information insurers may request

  • Supporting informed decisions about reimbursement

Streamline Out-Of-Network Claims

To simplify the process, this practice partners with Thrizer, a secure platform that streamlines claim submissions. In many cases, after meeting your deductible, you may only be responsible for your copay while Thrizer manages reimbursement directly.

This structure supports flexible therapy options for professionals with demanding careers.
